Facebook LIKES him!

Sonic Gang, did you all hear about the guy from Kanpur who made it big with Facebook this year!
A boy from Kanpur who studied B. Tech (Software Engineering) from Motilal Nehru Institute of Technology (MNIT), Allahabad, is now going to have move to Menlo Park, California.
Why? You ask! Because he is going to work for Facebook and the social networking company has offered him a salary package of $262, 500 (1.34 Crores Approx). Yes, you read it right! A whopping 1.34 crores per annum!
The story begins with a mail from Facebook in October last year. There were nine rounds of telephonic interviews and our Desi boy, managed to successfully clear all of them.

The director of MNIT, P. Chakrabarti said, "This is the highest in the recent past. We have approached Facebook in the past also, but this time the student could clear the nine rounds of interviews over the phone."

Whoaaaah! We'd say it's a perfect example of the saying 'Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.' Thanks to the Kanpur Boy, for setting such a bright example for the rest of the nation!
